“As a single working dad, it can be tough at times. Most of the time l feel like l am constantly fighting against time itself. After a couple of coaching sessions on getting an understanding how to use this playful teaching philosophy more efficiently, my kids and I would look forward to our time together role playing our day out or reading the books together. Thank you for your efforts on producing this philosophy.”

“Thank you both for creating such an amazing learning system. My partner and l have read lots of self-help books, listened to podcasts and a couple on online courses. This was all in the aim to better us and be parenting consciously. The Fish Tank was the perfect tool for us to integrate our learning as playful teachings to our children.”

"I truly wish we’d had something like this when we were kids. It would have been so helpful and I’m sure I wouldn’t have the issues I have now."

"During COVID, our daughter (aged 5 at the time), had her first year at primary school (prep), which unfortunately a large part of that year was in lockdown. We noticed she was experiencing some big emotions and was having trouble identifying and articulating them. We were open to trying different things to help her express those feelings in a healthy way, and so we engaged Jamie and Renae for some parenting/family dynamics coaching sessions. This led to us later trialling The Fish Tank program at home with our her (then 6 years old).
We found all the activities useful, fun, easy to follow and understand, and engaging for the whole family.

- The toy fish were very tactile and matched their emotion perfectly. They were a big hit in our house!
- The early reader books each described a fish and its emotion, so this was really helpful to develop some common language around the house.
- The magnets were my favourite as they're so accessible being on the fridge in the kitchen where we spend most of our time. And because they come in big and small sizes, it helped our daughter in sharing with us if an emotion is big or small, so we could know where to focus our conversation.
